- 23% of respondents would choose a national park for a romantic getaway. Men are more likely than women to do so (25% vs 20%), as are people who live in the Midwest.
- Less popular backdrops include: small towns (14%), ski mountains (10%) and big cities (10%).
- Boomers (ages 56-74) are the most likely age group to find small towns appealing, while younger millennials (ages 24-30) are more inclined to choose a ski mountain compared to other generations.
