Vennersys successfully expand into Northern Ireland

Glenarm Castle, a significant historic site in the town of Glenarm on the Northern Ireland coastline, has partnered with UK-based visitor attraction ticketing and management solution provider, Vennersys. Attracting more than 100,000 visitors every year, the Castle is one of Northern Ireland’s oldest estates. It was home to the 10th Earl and Countess of Antrim, built in 1636, and is full

of architectural and cultural history to explore on special guided tours.

The walled garden attached to the estate is also the only garden from Northern Ireland to be shortlisted, and subsequently win, the prestigious Historic Houses ‘Garden of the Year’ award, which it did in 2023.

Vennersys has over 30 years of experience in delivering Visitor Management Systems to a wide range of visitor attractions, including Museums and heritage sites such as Blenheim Palace, Cardiff Castle and Arley Hall. The new partnership between Glenarm Castle and Vennersys shows significant ambition for both parties. The castle is looking for a modern and integrated approach to ticketing, memberships, and access management, while Vennersys is expanding its operation across the Irish Sea for the first time.

Using the VenposCloud system, Glenarm Castle hopes to improve how it manages ticket sales while providing a better user experience to its guests and enhancing the efficiency of internal operations and marketing efforts.

They will achieve this using the numerous data collection and reporting opportunities provided by the VenposCloud system and the adoption of new admission kiosks and tills. There is a strong sense of hope on both sides of the new partnership and plenty of room for the further development of their work together.

Stuart Ward, Business Development Manager at Vennersys, is excited about the possibilities this new partnership will bring about, saying: “This partnership with Glenarm Castle marks a monumental occasion for Vennersys as we take the first steps of our expansion into Northern Ireland. With our expertise in the area, we hope to help the team at Glenarm modernise their processes and boost their revenue. We are excited about the potential for further collaborations with other attractions throughout Ireland.”
