On December 9, 2019, the buyer hosting programme, covering flights and accommodation was open, which is now in its final phase.
This is the first stage of pre-event appointment scheduling offering mutual and pre-matched appointments considering the seller and buyer preferences.
During the third week of December till the first week of January 2020, the second online stage took place allowing delegates to make meeting requests with each other.
To supplement the business generation leads from the on-site one-on-one business appointments that take place on TRAVEX days 2 and 3, organizers have announced the addition of a new business dating- on the first day of TRAVEX.
In the fast-paced activity buyers and sellers will be able to meet and sway as many as 200 contacts with each other.
Jof Calstas, Director General from World Institute of Journalism and Communication, Switzerland commented on the destinations he wishes to build a connection with during TRAVEX days. He said that they have started working closely with Brunei Tourism and hope that through ATF 2020, they can establish relationships with suppliers from Malaysia, Indonesia and Cambodia.
Kyaw Pyay Oo, Managing Director of Asian Tour Co., Ltd, Myanmar will be attending ATF for the first time said that they are seeking partnerships with adventure and incentive travel suppliers, DMCs, green products and service providers, hotels and resorts and travel management companies.
During the event, there will be media briefings, latest insights and first-hand destination developments by all 10 National Tourism Organisations.
Guests will be welcomed by hosted luncheons and dinners from several tourism boards.
