LONDON - Travelzoo has been rated the #1 choice for finding the best hotel offers by consumer-advice organisation Which?. This organisation is the largest independent reviewer of goods and services in the UK with more than one million subscribers and it aims to protect consumers with impartial advice.
The research by Which? was based on 3,400 customers' experiences of using 14 hotel-booking sites over the last two years, including Booking.com, Airbnb and Secret Escapes. Respondents scored brands across six categories: Ease of use, Relevance of search terms, Transparency of fees, Value for money, Descriptions matching reality and Customer service. The results were published in the September issue of Which? Travel.
Travelzoo, a global publisher of exclusive offers and experiences for members, came out top for value for money and received the highest overall customer score, which measures respondents' satisfaction with the brands and the likelihood of recommending them to a friend. Travelzoo scored 80%, beating all other brands, including Booking.com (72%), Airbnb (71%) and Secret Escapes (71%).
The Which? Travel report described Travelzoo as "much loved" by its members and concluded: "If you're looking for a deal and a little inspiration, then look no further."
