Kythnos Hiking, the operator of holidays on the Greek island, is adding walking on the neighbouring Cycladic island of Serifos to enrich its offerings and will present at upcoming tourist shows.
Direct retail bookings for Kythnos Hiking and those offered by tour operators are already well underway for the season from April to October.
Close to Athens, Kythnos is undeveloped for mass tourism but can show off the excavation of a 2500-year old city, the ruins of a Byzantine castle on a spectacular headland, natural hot springs, and many beaches.
Kythnos guided hiking holidays include religious, nature and agricultural themes, including visits to key churches and to cheese and honey-making farms. In the evening we organise traditional music and dancing.
The company is keen to meet journalists at the Adventure Travel Show (London, 20-21 January), Destinations (London, 1-4 February), Brussels Holiday Fair (1-4 February), and Milan's BIT (11-13 February).
In March, it will be present in Berlin at the ITB (6-11), in Paris at the Salon Mondial du Tourisme (15-18) and in Lyons for the Salon du Randonneur (23-25).
From April Kythnos Hiking will offer promotional visits to Kythnos in order you can savour the island and its walks.
