As the year 2018 has been declared as Turkey tourism year in China, the Turkish province of Antalya based on the Mediterranean coast is highly busy in preparation to welcome the Chinese tourists in the country.
To quote Munir Karaloglu, Governor, as narrated to Xinhua, ‘a feverish work has been going on across the province to address all the culprits before hosting our Chinese guests in a best possible way. Yet we are working hard to increase this diversity even further.’
He believes that the rich diversity of Antalya diversity in its tourism resources and infrastructure is much better in comparison to other countries. Antalya is the capital of Turkey tourism with a deep-seated historical and cultural heritage and 640 kms long sun-drenched coastline. The place is a hotspot for skiing, bird observation, sea tourism and trekking. The Governor also added, ‘we also started to take all the necessary precautions to ensure that there wouldn’t be any problems in our infrastructure during the stay of our Chinese guests.’
A team of delegates headed by Karaloglu earlier this month visited Hefei, capital of China’s Anhui province, and signed a sister city protocol in order develop friendly relations between the two cities and to lure more Chinese tourists to Antalya.
