Brisbane Showgrounds hosts outdoor adventurers that head to the National 4x4 Outdoors Show, Fishing and Boating Expo. The event, which has been held at the Showgrounds for almost 20 years, is expected to reel in a crowd of around 25,000 people over three days (March 31 – April 2).

More than 200 exhibitors will set up camp at the expo, showcasing the latest in off-road camper trailers, tents, barbecues, boats, fishing gear, camping products and more.
Television fishing personalities Paul Worsteling from IFISH and Peter ‘Spida’ Everitt from Great Australian Doorstep will have crowds hooked as they share their tips and tricks on the new Catch and Cook Stage.
Brisbane Showgrounds General Manager of Venue Sales and Marketing Jago Coyle said they’ve had a long-running association with the outdoors expo and were thrilled to see it return again this year.
“The popular event has been held at the Showgrounds ever since it first began almost two decades ago, which is credit to our versatile venue and dedicated staff,” he said.
“With 29 flexible spaces, the Brisbane Showgrounds caters for all types of events. In April, we’re hosting events from a monster truck show on the Main Arena to a fan meet for South Korean boy band Got7 in the world-class Royal International Convention Centre.”
Those heading to the 4x4 Outdoors Show, Fishing and Boating Expo today please note that due to the wet weather in Brisbane yesterday, parking won’t be available at Victoria Park (this will be reassessed today, for the weekend). However, public parking will still be available at Sector 3, via Gate 5 off O’Connell Terrace.
The 22 hectare Brisbane Showgrounds precinct is located just 1.5km from Brisbane’s CBD and is Queensland’s largest indoor / outdoor events site.
