The Future
of Flight Aviation
Center & Boeing Tour offers the only opportunity to tour a
commercial jet assembly plant in North America. The center and tour
are made possible through the collaboration of the Boeing Company,
Future of Flight Foundation, Snohomish County Public Facilities
District and the Snohomish County Airport/Paine Field.
The
Future of Flight Seattle offers experiences in flight operations,
flight deck, propulsion, future concepts and airplane designs.You can
also sit on the observation deck and watch the planes take off.
Organized
tours are available for cruise passengers from the Port of Seattle
and plan on 4.5 hour for transfers and the tour (drive to the plant
takes 45-minutes).
The
factory tour shows step-by-step of how the planes are made and takes
about an hour and a half.
These
tours are available from most cruise lines out of Seattle.
Note:
On the Boeing factory tour you are not allowed to take cell phones or
cameras, but secure lockers are available for purchase.
