The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, will lead the country’s participation at one of the world’s leading travel trade exhibitions, highlighting India’s appeal as a year-round destination while strengthening relationships with international tourism stakeholders.
Under the Incredible India banner, the country’s presence will celebrate its rich cultural heritage, historic landmarks, spiritual traditions, spectacular landscapes, wildlife, wellness retreats and distinctive culinary experiences.
This year’s WTM London, held under the theme “Resilience, Rebound & Reinvention: The Next Era of Global Travel”, will provide a platform for India to reinforce its position within the international tourism marketplace.
The Incredible India Pavilion will bring together representatives from state governments, Union Territory administrations, tour operators and businesses across India’s tourism and hospitality sectors.
The collective presence will showcase the country’s diverse destinations and experiences, from cultural and heritage tourism to nature, adventure, wellness and gastronomy.
Visitors to the pavilion will have opportunities to explore destination-specific offerings and engage directly with tourism representatives, providing fresh insights into India’s evolving tourism landscape.
Beyond destination promotion, India’s participation will focus on developing new commercial relationships and strengthening existing partnerships with international tour operators, travel agents, destination management companies and other travel industry stakeholders.
Business-to-business engagement will be a central component of the country’s presence, creating opportunities to develop new travel products, expand destination awareness and encourage increased international visitor arrivals.
The initiative forms part of India’s continued efforts to strengthen its visibility across key international source markets and position the country as an attractive destination for travellers seeking authentic and varied experiences.
The United Kingdom continues to represent an important source market for Indian tourism, supported by longstanding cultural and historical connections, strong personal ties and a substantial Indian diaspora.
Participation at WTM London provides an opportunity to reinforce these relationships while introducing international travel buyers to India’s expanding range of tourism experiences.
Through its presence at the exhibition, the Ministry of Tourism aims to build greater awareness of India’s tourism potential and support new partnerships that will contribute to the country’s long-term international tourism growth.
