Luxury cruise line encourages trade partners to capitalise on growing demand and prepare for a strong Wave season
Crystal is reporting strong sales momentum in the UK, with significant year-on-year growth in cruise revenue, rising booking values and an expanding customer base as the luxury cruise line looks ahead to Q4 and Wave season 2027. The positive performance reflects growing demand for Crystal’s luxury cruise experience, with strong results throughout Q3 providing a solid platform for the months ahead. August was the brand’s strongest month of the year so far, while three of its five best-performing months also fell within Q3.
The results also highlight the opportunity for travel agents to attract new-to-brand customers, with a significant proportion of business coming from partners who had not previously booked with Crystal. Almost half of all guests were new to the brand, demonstrating the potential to introduce a wider audience to its luxury ocean cruise offering.
Luke Smith, Crystal’s vice president of trade sales, UK & EMEA, said: “We’re seeing really encouraging momentum in the UK market, with strong sales performance, increasing booking values and a growing number of guests discovering Crystal for the first time. It’s particularly positive to see new trade partners coming on board and recognising the opportunity our brand presents. Our trade partners are central to our continued growth, and we want to ensure they feel confident in selling Crystal, both now and for the long term. As we head into Q4 and look towards Wave season, there is a real opportunity for agents to build on this momentum, engage customers with the Crystal experience and make the most of the demand we’re seeing for luxury cruising.”
