COSTA RICA – Connect DMC, a destination management company specializing in meetings, incentives, conferences, events and luxury travel, has expanded into Costa Rica. The new operation strengthens the company’s presence across Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean. The expansion adds Costa Rica to Connect DMC’s destination portfolio. The country is known for its natural environment, sustainability initiatives, hospitality and range of tourism experiences.
Connect DMC Costa Rica begins providing destination management services starting today, October 1.
Services and local management
The new operation will provide creative program design, transportation and logistics services. Its offer will also include accommodation, activities and excursions. Services will further cover special events, entertainment, dining experiences and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Enrique Martin del Campo, Chief Executive Officer of Connect DMC, is leading the company’s regional expansion. His responsibilities include maintaining the company’s service standards, operational processes and established partnerships across the region. Betsabe Gomez will lead the Costa Rican operation as Country Managing Director. She and her team will oversee destination development, local operations and client relationships.
The team will also manage the local sales strategy. Connect DMC’s regional leadership and international sales network will support the operation.
