Beyond the Spa: Sunlaws, Golf and Whisky
Beyond the spa, SCHLOSS Roxburghe’s award-winning standards continue at fine-dining restaurant, Sunlaws, the Scottish Borders’ only holder of 3 AA Rosettes. Chef Dan Ashmore’s tasting menu champions the Estate’s own larder, with highlights including dishes such as Orkney scallop, steamed turbot with Skye prawns and St Brides duck, finished with a whisky-inspired sweet course.
Golfers can take on the Championship Golf Course, ranked among Scotland’s top 10 inland courses, with the signature par 5 ‘the Viaduct’ hole a highlight of any round. Afterwards, guided whisky tastings in the book-lined Bar 1745 are a fitting way to unwind, drawing on a collection of more than 300 whiskies.
