For the first time, four Edge Series ships – Celebrity Beyond, Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent and Celebrity Apex – will operate in Europe. The programme also includes the return of Celebrity Beyond to the region following its 2026 renewal.

The 2028-2029 programme includes Celebrity Cruises’ largest deployment of Edge Series ships in Europe and its most extensive Northern Europe programme to date. Celebrity Infinity will operate overnight calls in Egypt, while Celebrity Apex will make the cruise line’s first visit to Galway, Ireland.
Celebrity Constellation and Celebrity Infinity will return to Bari, Italy, for the first time in more than a decade. Other additions include round-trip Hawaii cruises from Los Angeles, Celebrity Equinox’s first Alaska season and the first full Japan season for a Solstice Series ship, with Celebrity Solstice operating in the country during 2028.
The deployment also includes an extended South America season and the return of Celebrity Equinox to Antarctica.
In Europe, Celebrity Beyond will return for its first season in the region since 2023. The ship will feature new spaces including Mediterranean restaurant Bora and Celebrity Pool Club, with Orange Peel Bar & Grille and Tacos del Sol scheduled to debut aboard Celebrity Beyond in November 2026.
Celebrity Beyond will operate seven- to 14-night cruises from Southampton to Norway, Iceland and Scandinavia. Its programme includes 14-night itineraries calling at Reykjavik, Isafjordur, Akureyri and Seydisfjordur in Iceland, followed by Geiranger, Alesund, Flam, Nordfjordeid and Bergen in Norway.
Celebrity Summit will also operate round-trip Iceland itineraries from Reykjavik.
Celebrity Apex will offer 12-night Scandinavian itineraries visiting Oslo, Skagen, Stockholm, Tallinn, Helsinki and Copenhagen. New 12-night British Isles cruises will include destinations in Scotland, Ireland and England, as well as the cruise line’s first call at Galway.
In the Mediterranean, Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent and Celebrity Eclipse will operate seven- to 11-night itineraries covering Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Portugal, Greece and Turkey.
Celebrity Constellation will operate 10- and 11-night itineraries in Italy and Croatia. These will include Celebrity Cruises’ first visit to Bari since 2014.
Celebrity Infinity will continue year-round European operations. Its programme will include the cruise line’s first Egypt sailings since 2023, with overnight stays in Alexandria.
Shoulder-season cruises from Athens will visit Santorini, Kavala, Rhodes, Mykonos and Ephesus. During the off-season, Celebrity Infinity will operate from Barcelona to the Canary Islands, Portugal and Morocco.
Celebrity Cruises will deploy three ships in Alaska in 2028. Celebrity Edge will return for a fifth season, while Celebrity Equinox will operate in Alaska for the first time with seven-night one-way cruises between Vancouver and Seward.
Celebrity Millennium will offer round-trip Alaska cruises from Vancouver. Celebrity Equinox passengers will also have the option to combine their cruise with land-based Cruisetours, including lodge stays and travel by road and rail through Anchorage, Talkeetna and Denali.
