Accelya opens Bogotá office to expand Americas presence

BOGOTA, COLOMBIA – Accelya, a provider of technology solutions for the airline industry, has announced the opening of a new office in Bogotá, Colombia, further expanding its presence across the Americas.

The new location complements the company’s established operations in Miami and is intended to strengthen support for airlines as they progress from modern retailing strategies to operational implementation. The Bogotá office will host commercial, customer success and technical teams, enabling closer collaboration with airline customers across the region.

According to the company, the expansion reflects growing demand from airlines modernising platforms that support revenue generation, offer creation, order management, distribution, payments, settlement and service delivery.

As adoption of New Distribution Capability (NDC) standards continues to increase across the aviation sector, airlines are seeking technology partners capable of supporting both implementation and operational performance at scale.

The Bogotá office is designed to provide regional carriers with access to expertise covering programme design, implementation, customer success and technical support. The company stated that the expanded presence will strengthen its ability to support airlines undertaking significant retailing, delivery and financial infrastructure transformation projects.

The opening forms part of Accelya’s global organisation of approximately 2,900 employees serving more than 200 airlines worldwide. The company is headquartered in Windsor, United Kingdom.

The office opening event was attended by Funda Saltuk and Lesley Harris.

Funda Saltuk, Chief Human Resources Officer at Accelya, said: “Airlines are moving from modern retailing strategy into execution, where platforms must perform at scale every day. Bogotá gives us a stronger operating base in the region, with commercial, customer success, and technical teams closer to the airlines we support. That proximity matters when programs move from planning into live delivery.”
