Highlights of our Galapagos sailing trip

Our Galapagos sailing cruise is just perfect and has all the ingredients for a trip of a lifetime. Many of our previous guests have told us so in those specific words, and I couldn't agree more. Some have even rebooked the same destination.

Don't miss out!

🫶 Intimate & exclusive

Visit some of the most remote corners of this world and of the Galapagos in the most magical way: with a small group and with very few people and ships around.

We will have the islands and stops all to ourselves, at the optimal time to be at each spot: In the early morning or late evening for our walks and before lunch for snorkeling.

Our group will have a maximum of 14 guests, though it may be even smaller, and give us the flexibility to jump in the water to swim with a pod of dolphins, play with penguins or snorkel with sea lions when we spot them. Grab your snorkels and jump in!

✨ Luxury catamaran, almost 1-to-1 ratio of guest to crew

Our catamaran is completely new (sailing since April 2026), luxurious, eco-friendly, solar-powered, carbon-neural and is part of an Ecuadorian, female-owned, B-Corp company.

Cabins are spacious with large windows to see the sunrise or sunset, in-room espresso machines, premium bathroom amenities, plush bathrobes, comfortable beds, and elegant decor.

Our Quito extension stays at an eco-friendly, women owned, luxury 5* hotel with a great rooftop restaurant, an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi and steam room and wonderful spa.

We will be taken care of by a fantastic team of local guides, naturalists and crew that will number almost as many as the guests, and they are ready to spoil us.

They'll help take our wet suits off, offer a warm drink and some snacks when we come back from every excursion, help us on and off the boats, and basically spoil us.

Outdoor spaces are beautiful, have comfortable sofas to see the world go by and the top deck comes with a heated jacuzzi, stargazing sofas and dining space for al fresco lunches and dinners. You have never seen the sky as clear as in the Galapagos.

Have I mentioned there is even a spa for days when we are close to the main islands?

Most of us will only visit The Galapagos once, but if done right, once is enough.

⚢ Female supporting

We support local and female owned businesses, we help them thrive with respect, and that is what makes our trips truly special.

We are proud that this trip will be 100% female powered. Both the catamaran and the hotel in Quito are owned by Ecuadorian women.

The tour will be co-hosted by a female Ecuadorian guide during the extension and by a local female naturalist guide in the Galapagos.

♻️ Environmentally focused and low impact

The catamaran is the only certified carbon-neutral vessel in The Galapagos and both the boat and activities (on land and at sea) are designed to be as low impact as possible.

Several measures have been implemented to make this trip mindful of the fragile eco-system it visits:

  • For every guest, a tree will be planted in the Amazon to help with carbon footprint and environmental impact
  • Food is sourced locally wherever possible, supporting local communities and minimizing transportation footprint
  • Wildlife sightings are done safely, for us and for the animals. Although it is common for the curious Galapagos animals to come right up to you, we will keep our distance
  • We will have wildlife experts with us at all times, to make sure we don't do anything that could harm wildlife
  • Water is available for you to refill your own bottle anytime so disposable plastic bottles are avoided.

☀️ THE best time to visit

Wildlife in The Galapagos is endemic, so it can be observed year-round, but the weather can play a major role in how comfortable and easy those sightings are.

Our trip will take place strategically where it's optimal to visit based on the weather, water temp, visibility, sea conditions and rainfall.

You don't want to be freezing when you come out of the water or for the sightings to be dampened by rain or constant mosquitoes. Or for the seas to be rough so you get seasick or the waters are too choppy to snorkel.

We will make the most of the minimal light pollution to stargaze and see the Milky Way at night, enjoy balmy sunsets & sunrises, snorkel with good visibility, chill by the cleanest beaches and hopefully enjoy some dry days.

🦭 Up and close wildlife encounters

Although we can never guarantee a sighting, our expert naturalists know how to spot wildlife and will help us get up and close to the most commonly seen species. Most importantly, wildlife in the Galapagos is endemic and here year round.

We know what spots have what animals, and the itinerary visits 15 spots with the chance to see them all multiple times. I saw all the below during my trips:

  • Dozens of sea lions on land and at sea, happy to swim with you
  • Penguins, who swim with you or chill on the rocks
  • Hammerhead, Galapagos & white tip sharks
  • Mantas following our zodiacs and sting rays swimming around
  • Large schools of tropical fish everywhere
  • Pods of dolphins following our zodiacs and staying to swim with us
  • Sea turtles and giant tortoises who live everywhere in Santa Cruz
  • Marine and land iguanas sunbathing, eating or resting
  • All sorts of birds, from blue, Nazca and red-footed boobies to gulls, cormorants, frigate birds, tropic birds, petrels, pelicans, and so much more. Expect dozens of birds found nowhere else that are sometimes seeking shade under your own

✈️ Optional add-on: Quito, flights, paperwork

Most of the trips to the Galapagos will have to transit via Quito.

We are offering several add-ons that take care of flights to and from Quito, the mandatory National Park fees and the transit cards, airport transfers with greeting service and an extension in Quito to discover the best preserved colonial city in South America, which is also World heritage listed.

We will meet a traditional Panama hat making lady (Panama hats are actually Ecuadorian), explore Ecuador's chocolate culture and visit the Middle of the World, so you go home with a better understanding of the country as a whole.

Podcast Episode #8 - Bali beyond social media

This week I am talking with our tour host in Bali and experience local guide Henni who has been taking visitors around for almost 10 years and has a very heartfelt view on the island spirituality and a strong message for those wanting to visit.

We discuss parts of Bali that are untouched by the social media hype, how to support local and make sure your vacation investment ends in the hands of Balinese or at least Indonesian people, and what spirituality really means in a place that is frequently mentioned as one of the best destination for those looking for a wellness or spiritual retreat.

Bali is more than swings, nests, beach and jungle clubs made for the "gram" and tours that focus exclusively on using the island as a backdrop for social media feeds, and I hope that this conversation will inspire you to get to know the island better.
