YMA Yachting, a Bali-based marketing and sales agency specializing in luxury maritime vessels, has announced its expansion into the Greek market by representing the yacht Cosmos, marking the company’s first vessel outside Indonesia.
yacht Cosmos
Cosmos is a 25-metre traditional wooden motor sailer anchored at Alimos Marina in Athens. The vessel was originally built in 1979 at the Mavrikos Brothers shipyard on the island of Syros and underwent a full restoration in 2019.
The yacht preserves the design of a traditional Greek “karavoskaro,” vessels historically used for deep-sea trading. The restoration integrates traditional craftsmanship with contemporary onboard comforts, including wooden interiors, open deck spaces, and modern hospitality features.
Cosmos accommodates up to eight guests across four cabins and operates with a professional crew of four. Onboard amenities include outdoor dining on the sun deck and a range of water equipment such as an E-foil board, paddleboards, kayak, sea scooters, Seabob units, and snorkeling and fishing gear.
Operating from Alimos Marina, located approximately 45 minutes by car from Athens International Airport, the yacht offers charter itineraries across the Saronic Gulf, the Cyclades, and the Athens Riviera. Routes can be tailored to explore Greek islands, coastal locations, and historic ports.
YMA Yachting will manage marketing and sales activities for Cosmos, including brand positioning, communications strategy, and international media relations across key charter markets.
Charles Bastard, Co-Founder of YMA Yachting, said: “This is an important milestone for YMA Yachting. Alongside our continued growth in Indonesia, representing our first vessel in Greece marks a meaningful step in our international expansion and reflects the growing demand for highly curated, globally connected charter experiences. Cosmos is a remarkable yacht, embodying the same level of craftsmanship, character, and storytelling that defines our fleet in Indonesia.”
With the addition of Cosmos, YMA Yachting expands its portfolio of design-led yachts operating across Indonesia and the Mediterranean, focusing on vessels that combine maritime heritage with contemporary charter experiences.
