Croatia Airlines plans to connect Croatia with 30 European destinations this season

Croatia Airlines, Croatia’s flag carrier and a member of Star Alliance, is expanding its international destination network, and increasing the number of weekly flights on existing routes in its 2025 summer flight timetable (30 March – 26 October 2025). These additions will result in an overall increase in the number of flights operated compared to the same period in 2024.

Five new seasonal routes will be introduced from Zagreb:

Zagreb – Prague (flights available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)

Zagreb – Milan (flights available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)

Zagreb – Hamburg (flights available on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays)

Zagreb – Bucharest (flights available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays)

Zagreb – Madrid (flights available on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays)

Flights on these routes are scheduled to operate from early July until the end of October 2025, using Croatia Airlines’ new Airbus A220 aircraft, with which the airline is replacing its existing fleet.

To mark the launch of these new routes, Croatia Airlines is offering special promotional fares. More specifically, return tickets for flights on the Zagreb – Prague, Zagreb – Milan, and Zagreb – Bucharest routes are available from €129, on the Zagreb–Hamburg route from €139, and on the Zagreb – Madrid route from €179. Air tickets at promotional fares are available at www.croatiaairlines.com or by using the Croatia Airlines mobile application.

Instead of twice a week, flights on the seasonal Zagreb–Tirana route (introduced in 2024) will now be operated three times a week – on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flights on the Zagreb–Barcelona route will increase from three to four weekly flights – available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

During this year’s tourist season, Croatia Airlines will be connecting Zagreb with 23 international destinations, including Amsterdam, Athens (via Dubrovnik), Barcelona, Vienna, Berlin, Brussels, Bucharest, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Hamburg, London (Heathrow), Madrid, Milan, Mostar, Munich, Paris, Prague, Rome (via Split, and via Dubrovnik), Sarajevo, Skopje, Stockholm, Tirana, and Zurich.

Split Airport will be connected to 21 international destinations (22 airports), including Amsterdam, Athens, Vienna, Berlin, Bucharest, Dublin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Copenhagen, London (Gatwick, and Heathrow), Lyon, Milan, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Prague, Rome, Skopje, Stockholm, and Zurich.

Also, flights on the Split – Oslo route will increase to two weekly flights available on Thursdays, and Sundays. Similarly, flights on the Split – Berlin route will also increase to two weekly flights available on Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

To further support the tourism potential of Dubrovnik and the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Croatia Airlines will directly connect Dubrovnik with seven European destinations this season, including Athens, Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, Prague, Rome, and Zurich.

The Dubrovnik – Zurich route will gain an additional weekly flight on Sundays, increasing to five weekly flights available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Likewise, the Dubrovnik – Prague route will now operate twice weekly, that is, on Thursdays, and Sundays.

Year-round services on the Rijeka–Munich and Osijek–Munich routes will continue.

Alongside expanding its international destination network, Croatia Airlines will maintain strong domestic connectivity, operating flights between eight Croatian airports: Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Zadar, Pula, Osijek, Rijeka, and Bol on the Island of Brač. The Zagreb – Split, and Zagreb – Dubrovnik routes will have the highest frequency, with seasonal services also resuming on the Osijek – Split, Osijek – Dubrovnik, and Zagreb – Brač routes.

During the 2025 tourist season, Croatia Airlines will operate flights to 30 international destinations across 31 European airports, covering 55 international scheduled routes. In this year’s summer flight timetable, over 18,200 flights are planned (a 7% increase from 2024), on which more than 2.26 million seats will be available (an 18% increase compared to 2024). With these improvements, Croatia’s flag carrier is continuing to enhance the quality of Croatia’s tourism product, while also enhancing the transport infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia.

Croatia Airlines’ network of international and domestic flights during this year’s summer season has been tailored to market demand for air transport services, with the flight timetable subject to adjustments depending on the delivery timeline of the new Airbus A220 aircraft and their integration into the fleet.
