Summer in Germany: Open Air Highlights, Konstanz Seenachtfests

 

The lake night festival in Konstanz has long earned its cult status. For more than 65 years, one of the largest open-air festivals around Lake Constance has been held here in August. Every summer, up to 50,000 visitors make the pilgrimage to Konstanz to experience the Mediterranean atmosphere of the Seenachtfest, to party, eat and enjoy.

 The spectacular high point of the Konstanz Seenachtfests is without a doubt the fireworks on the lake - one of the largest displays in Europe. For half an hour, German and Swiss pyrotechnists make the stars above Lake Constance dance to the rhythm of the music. A show that you simply have to experience at least once in your life!
