 Qatar’s tourism sector saw unprecedented growth in 2023, welcoming 4.05 million visitors, a 58% increase from the previous year. Key source countries included Saudi Arabia, India, and the USA. For 2024, the sector is projected to contribute QAR 90.8 billion to the economy, representing 11.3% of total revenues. Job creation is expected to surpass 334,500 positions. Spending by international travelers is forecasted to reach QAR 69.6 billion, with domestic travelers contributing QAR 12 billion, highlighting Qatar’s status as a top global destination.

 The top ten countries with visitors to the State of Qatar were Saudi Arabia, India, Germany, USA, UK, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, UAE, and Pakistan.
