Hotel management company Newport Hospitality GroupNewport Hospitality Group has promoted Brendan McCoy to SVP/COO, while Whitney Altizer has assumed the role of SVP/chief commercial officer.
McCoy, who joined Newport in 2011, previously served as VP – director of operations and spearheaded numerous successful projects, driving operational distinction across the company’s portfolio, according to the management firm.
Altizer has been with the company for 20 years and has moved up from her previous role as VP, commercial strategy.
The two executives become the company’s first new equity partners in eight years. They will play pivotal roles in steering Newport toward continued growth and driving strong financial results, according to the company.
