As Rocky Mountaineer prepares for its first departures of the 2024 season, this month the luxury tourist train company is offering savings of £615 per couple on new bookings for its Canadian Circle Journeys – giving agents a great opportunity to upsell a series of packages which feature not one but two iconic Rocky Mountaineer routes in Western Canada.
The Circle Journey packages combine two different routes through the Canadian Rockies, with each package forming a round-trip itinerary from Vancouver that highlights some of the best of British Columbia and Alberta by rail, road and even Ice Explorer all-terrain vehicle!
The saving is valid on all 2024 departures except those taking place in September and four separate packages are offered, ranging from eight to 14 nights in duration.
Prices start at £3,930 per person for the eight-night Discovery Circle Journey Banff. This itinerary combines Rocky Mountaineer’s Journey Through The Clouds route from Vancouver to Jasper with a road journey down the scenic Icefields Parkway including an Ice Explorer ride to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier, returning to Vancouver onboard Rocky Mountaineer on the First Passage to the West route from the stunning mountain town of Banff.
The price includes eight nights’ hotel accommodation, four days onboard Rocky Mountaineer with SilverLeaf Service, all meals onboard the train, transfers, National Parks Pass and Ice Explorer and Glacier Skywalk excursions.
Longer packages include the 11-night Grand Adventure Circle, priced from £7,738 per person, which departs Vancouver onboard Rocky Mountaineer’s Rainforest to Gold Rush route to Jasper via Whistler and Quesnel, two-night stops in Jasper, Lake Louise and Banff as guests make their way down the Icefields Parkway and through Yoho National Park, again returning to Vancouver via Kamloops on the First Passage to the West Rocky Mountaineer route. Both Rocky Mountaineer journeys featured in this itinerary are in GoldLeaf Service, which features bi-level coaches with a seating area on the upper level and a lower-level dining area where meals are freshly prepared in the adjacent kitchen.
Packages are available for agents and operators to book through their usual channels, with the savings on Circle Journeys applied until 30 April.
Steven Harris, Rocky Mountaineer’s Director of Sales UK & Europe, commented: “It’s an exciting time as we await the first departures of the 2024 season, and we’re delighted to give our travel agent and wholesale partners a great chance to upsell by making clients aware of this short-term offer on our unforgettable packages that each showcase different highlights of the Canadian Rockies.”
