LUANDA – TAAG Angola Airlines passengers will benefit from greater availability and flexibility, as the company is providing daily connections between Luanda (Angola) and Lagos (Nigeria) from January 8th. Nigeria is one of the largest economies in Africa, and Lagos a key regional destination, namely for the corporate segment.
Currently, the Luanda – Lagos route has 5 weekly frequencies, namely on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday operated by Boeing 737-700 aircraft, with 120 passengers’ total capacity (102 in economy class and 12 in business class). A positive impact on trade and people mobility between Angola and Nigeria is expected while Luanda is reinforcing its status as an important hub for regional and international connections powered by TAAG Angola Airlines.
Recently, TAAG Angola Airlines has been upgrading the network, leveraging the connectivity to regional routes: São Tomé Island, Windhoek (Namibia), Pointe-Noire (Republic of Congo), and Maputo (Mozambique).
