IndiGo, the airline of choice in India, is set to launch direct flights connecting Mumbai and Ayodhya starting January 15, 2024.
These daily services will enable passengers to reach Ayodhya with greater ease and in less time. Previously, IndiGo had announced its first flights from the upcoming Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport in Ayodhya, beginning with services from Delhi on December 30, 2023. Following this, regular flights from Delhi to Ayodhya will begin on January 6, 2024, and from Ahmedabad to Ayodhya on January 11, 2024. This initiative highlights IndiGo’s dedication to expanding direct flight options to and from Ayodhya, thereby enhancing connectivity, travel convenience, and economic activity in the area.Mr. Vinay Malhotra, the Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, commented on this development, stating, “We are thrilled to introduce direct flights connecting Ayodhya with Mumbai, alongside our existing routes from Delhi and Ahmedabad. Ayodhya is a city steeped in rich history and cultural significance in India, known as the birthplace of Lord Rama. The city is home to numerous historic temples, ghats, and holy sites, attracting pilgrims and tourists worldwide. The soon-to-be-completed Ram Mandir is among the notable attractions in the city.
Customers interested in these routes can book their flights through the official IndiGo website. The introduction of these new flights is expected to enhance the airline’s network within India.
Flight Schedule:
- Flight No. 6E 5378 from Mumbai to Ayodhya will operate daily starting January 15, 2024, departing at 12:30 and arriving at 14:45.
- Flight No. 6E 5379 from Ayodhya to Mumbai will also operate daily from January 15, 2024, with a departure time of 15:15 and an arrival time of 17:40.
