Seoul, May 13, 2026 — Korean Air will emerge as an integrated flag carrier on December 17, 2026, marking the completion of a consolidation process spanning over five years. Korean Air and Asiana Airlines boards approved the merger agreement on May 13, with the formal contract execution scheduled for May 14.

American resumes Eastern Caribbean flying: Adds nearly 5,000 additional seats and the airline’s largest aircraft to the region

 

Now that the Eastern Caribbean airspace has reopened, it’s all hands on deck at American to take care of the airline’s customers and help as many get to and from the region as possible. Norwegian Group with 1.8 million passengers in November

 

In November, Norwegian had 1.5 million passengers, while Widerøe had 324,000 passengers, bringing the Group total to 1.84 million passengers. The November load factor of 85.5 percent was a record high for Norwegian.
