Louis Poulsen has appointed Carly Conelli as its new CEO for the United States and Canada. Conelli will lead the newly established Louis Poulsen head office in New York, an extension of the brand headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.
“We see an incredible potential in the U.S. and Canada, and we’re excited to bring Carly Conelli in to ensure continued growth,” says Tommy Rothoff, chief sales officer, Louis Poulsen. “We believe that the new structure will propel all categories in the market and give our partners the best support possible.”
Conelli is a global lifestyle and retail executive with extensive experience within the luxury field across home and design brands including Roll & Hill, AERIN, Ralph Lauren and Caro Home. With in-depth knowledge of both wholesale and retail business structures and a proven track record for creating and implementing key strategic programs and propelling businesses forward, she will be responsible for wholesale partners and will work closely with the Louis Poulsen sales team in North America and Denmark on a growth plan for the United States and Canada, top priority markets.
“Louis Poulsen is driven by quality, beauty, purity, and passion—and these attributes are as important now to our customers as they were when it was established almost 150 years ago,” said Conelli. “I’m looking forward to growing the brand and its human approach to lighting throughout North America.”
The new structure for this region went into effect on Jan. 1 when Neo Architectural Lighting became the exclusive partner of Louis Poulsen outdoor and architectural lighting in North America, continuing to support the professional market.
