The Ministry of Tourism took part in the World Travel Market (WTM) 2022 from November 7-9 in London where diverse tourism offerings of India were displayed to the worldwide tourism industry stakeholders like tour operators, travel agents and media.
The Indian delegation met with Andy Burwell, International Director, Confederation of Business Industry (CBI) and talked about the option of business/ investment chances and how India is a lucrative investment destination, said the Tourism Ministry in an official announcement.
India is sharing its main concerns for the tourism division, which comprise aiming on encouraging sustainable tourism, digitalization of the tourism sector, and growth of tourism MSMEs and abilities. India is known as a land of culture, heritage and spirituality. Every state in India has its own distinctive tourism offerings for the world.
The tourism sector in India is on the rise speedily and preparing to meet the promising trends after the pandemic. Approaching India’s G-20 Presidency from December 2022 to November 2023 will assist India’s tourism sector to emphasize on the country’s tourism offerings and share its tourism success stories globally.
