Ει βούλει καλώς ακούειν, μάθε καλώς λέγειν, μαθών δε καλώς λέγειν, πειρώ καλώς πράττειν, και ούτω καρπώση το καλώς ακούειν. (Επίκτητος)

St. Kitts observes island wellness

St. Kitts Tourism Authority, in honor of Tourism Awareness Month, is accepting 2022’s theme, “Immerse, Indulge, Renew, Rethinking Tourism 2022,” to highlight the wellness experiences of the island.

The Tourism Authority all through the month will organize several events along with workshops aimed on physical, environmental, and spiritual wellness.

Honourable Marsha Henderson, Minister of Tourism, said that in this Tourism Awareness Month, St. Kitts is all geared up to recommit to and reiterate tourism’s significance within their community.

To wellness, St. Kitts is no stranger at all. With sustainability at the center of their move toward tourism, the theme of ‘Immerse, Indulge, and Renew’ gave the right opportunity to carry on showcasing their island in a significant and on-brand manner together with the mission of Tourism Awareness Month.

Mirroring the theme, the authority of tourism introduced the calendar of events that started from 1st November 2022 and coming to an end on 27 November of this year.

To take part in the event, locals and visitors are invited across the island. Experiences like a beach clean-up at Major’s Bay, emphasizing the significance of the well-being of environment in supporting the tourism efforts of St. Kitts, to taking part in a heritage and fitness hike, aiming on physical wellness.

The Tourism Authority is arranging a Tourism Festival, as part of Tourism Awareness Month, to encourage and rejoice community pride.

The launch of the Tourism Fest will be on Friday, 11 November, and will include family-inclusive activities, a feast of local cuisine, storytelling and local steel bands.
