Guests can then pay cashless on board.
“With Austrian Melangerie PreOrder we offer our passengers on short-haul and medium-haul flights an additional plus in service. At the same time, pre-ordering is an important step towards more sustainability and combating food waste due to enhanced planning“, says Austrian Airlines CCO Michael Trestl.
Pre-orders from the Austrian Melangerie menu are available on all short-haul and medium-haul routes with a flight time of more than 50 minutes, both inbound to and outbound from Vienna. The product choice of Austrian Melangerie PreOrder includes hot meals and sandwiches exclusively. In addition, guests can choose from a wide range of Austrian meals, snacks and beverages once on board, like before. Each passenger can pre-order up to five meals. All products of the Austrian Melangerie are made by Austrian manufacturers in a regional, seasonal and fair way.
