WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA - Pleasant Holidays and its luxury brand, Journese, announced the promotion of Chanda Vudmaska, a 33-year veteran of Pleasant Holidays, to Staff Vice President of Sales as part of an overall reorganization of the brands’ combined sales team. In addition, Steven Perry has been promoted to Manager of National Accounts and Training, and the company has hired two new Business Development Managers (BDMs).

“Chanda brings extensive knowledge and commitment to the Pleasant Holidays and Journese brands, and Steven has utilized his travel industry product knowledge to develop a vast trove of knowledge among Travel Advisors across the country,” said Jack E. Richards, President and CEO. “We are delighted to see them flourish and achieve success in these new roles leading a team that is focused and engaged with travel advisors – including independent contractors – to grow sales and income.”
Vudmaska will have responsibility for the sales team including BDMs across the U.S, inside sales support, national accounts and sales training. Her focus will be on strategic sales initiatives, tactical execution, new business acquisition and revenue growth opportunities within our existing business portfolio.
A nine-year veteran of Pleasant Holidays and Journese, Perry has led the company’s Travel Advisor training programs for the past six years including Pleasant Pro Academy with more than 9,000 graduates. While continuing in this role, Perry will leverage his extensive product and destination knowledge to drive sales growth of the company’s national consortia and strategic travel agency accounts.
Recently, Pleasant Holidays and Journese also added two new BDMs:
- Natalia Pirumyan is Business Development Manager for the Southern California Region, covering Los Angeles, Malibu, Pasadena, Glendale, Bakersfield, Bishop, Arcadia and Alhambra, along with Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.
- Lydia Torres is Business Development Manager, Southern California Region, covering the territory encompassing San Diego County and the Inland Empire counties of Riverside and San Bernardino.
