CHICAGO—Hyatt Hotels Corporation recently opened four Hyatt Place hotels across the U.S. and Canada. They all include the brand’s signature amenities of the Lobby Bar, The Market, a fitness center, free WiFI and the Necessities program for forgotten items. The properties are:
Hyatt Place Boston/Seaport District
The fourth Hyatt Place hotel in the Boston area, the 297-room property is a collaborative effort with McWhinney, a national real estate investment and development firm. The project’s design team included local architect Arrowstreet and interior design group Group One Partners. Hyatt will serve as the hotel’s operator. Other amenities include a Guest Lounge and Patio on the 12th floor with views of Boston Harbor; and event space offering 6,724 sq. ft. of flexible, high-tech meeting/function space.
Hyatt Place at Wichita State University
The first Hyatt Place in Wichita, KS, the 106-room property, is owned by Shocker Lodging, LLC and managed by Lodging One Hospitality, LLC. Located on the campus of Wichita State University, the hotel offers 1,140 sq. ft. of meeting/function space.
Hyatt Place Sioux Falls
The first Hyatt-branded hotel in the state of South Dakota, the hotel is a joint venture led by Kelly Midwest Ventures, LP, and operated by Kelly Inns, Ltd. The 110-room property offers 1,120 sq. ft. of flexible meeting/function space.
Hyatt Place Moncton-Downtown
The first Hyatt Place branded hotel in Atlantic Canada, the 120-room property is located across from the new events center and offers, besides the signature amenities, a fitness center and 3,500 sq. ft. of flexible, high-tech meeting/function space.
