MOSCOW - Aeroflot has extended the expiration date for miles under the Aeroflot Bonus frequent flyer programme. Members of the Aeroflot Bonus programme who did not use their qualification miles in 2019 or 2020 will have another year to redeem them. The active status of all Aeroflot Bonus miles has been extended through 2021.
In March, Aeroflot extended the elite level status for members of its Aeroflot Bonus frequent flyer programme through the end of February 2022. The decision is aimed at rewarding the loyalty of Aeroflot frequent fliers who are forced to limit travel in the current environment and are therefore accumulating fewer Aeroflot Bonus miles.
Aeroflot Bonus is one of the largest loyalty programmes in the Russia and CIS region. Currently, the programme has more than 9 million participants. Members receive miles for flying Aeroflot, its subsidiaries Rossiya and Aurora, as well as SkyTeam alliance airlines. Participants also collect miles by purchasing products and services from partners of the Aeroflot Bonus programme. Miles can be used to purchase tickets, pay for upgrades in service class or receive numerous premium offers from programme partners.
