The recent International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR) held in Madrid, Spain favored Latin America enormously.
The 40th edition of the fair, which was held from January 22nd to 26th, had its usual stage in the salons of the Madrid Fair (IFEMA). The strong Latin American presence at FITUR marks a particular pre-eminence for destinations with plenty of cultural attractions. In that segment, it was announced that from next June 28, Aerolineas Argentinas will add three new frequencies on the Buenos Aires-Madrid route, which will join the daily flight that is currently operating.
The president of the Provincial Council and the Tourist Board of Huelva, Spain, Ignacio Caraballo, presented the fourth edition of the Doñana Natural Ecotourism Fair in FITUR. The event will take place in the village of El Rocío (Almonte) of 16 to the 19th of next April.
This ecotourism fair will have Cuba as a guest country.
This year, the total surface covered by FITUR increased by 3.3%.
