Michael Niggemann, Chief Financial Officer of SWISS, has been appointed to the Executive Board of the Lufthansa Group, on which he will succeed Bettina Volkens as Chief Officer Corporate Human Resources & Legal Affairs. He takes up his new duties at the beginning of January 2020. “I am delighted for Michael at his appointment to the Lufthansa Group Executive Board,” says SWISS CEO Thomas Klühr. “I offer him my sincere thanks for all his work and commitment for SWISS. Niggemann joined SWISS as its Chief Financial Officer at the beginning of November 2017. In addition to his CFO duties, he has also borne overall responsibility for the company’s Human Resources and Legal Affairs, along with its Swiss WorldCargo airfreight division and its Information Technology.
