Tirana International Airport SHPK (“TIA”) is operating the Tirana International Airport „Nënë Teresa“ (“Airport”) since 23 April 2005 under the BOOT Concession Agreement entered into between Government of Albania and TIA ratified under the Albanian Law 9312 of 11 November 2004 (“Airport Concession Law”). As per the Airport Concession Law and in the quality of the concessionaire, TIA is in charge of all Airport activities for 22 years. With its profound know-how, TIA manages and develops the Airport according to international standards.
In line with managing both the Airport’s existing assets and catering for the Airport’s anticipated growth, TIA is committed to undertaking a number of capital expenditure projects from 2020-2022. The main projects in this program will be airfield infrastructure rehabilitation under operations, design and construction of a terminal expansion, and in the scope of the program is included also preparation of the Maintenance and Investment Schedule summarizing the conditions of assets, risk, targets and resulting refurbishment and investment cost for from an assessment based on the engineering experience.
TIA thus intends to engage a project management consultant with suitable international airport experience (the “Project Manager”). The Project Manager shall support TIA with professional comprehensive and efficient project management services for the described projects. Project management services shall be delivered for each of the respective projects from the development phase through permitting, tender, design and construction phases up to start of operations.
To participate in this process interested parties expected to have successfully completed in the last 5 years 2 similar projects at the amount in the range of 15 – 20 million EUR each of the projects, will need to submit an official letter o expression of interest for participation by e – mail, to all below address.
Upon receipt of the e – mail, TIA will send to the respective company a Confidentiality Commitment form. The interested company will need to send the signed and stamped Confidentiality Commitment form, by e-mail, latest until 27th November 2019, at all the addresses below, and only then they will receive all the necessary forms and instructions for participating in this tender.
The set of tender documents will be delivered free of charge, via e-mail.
