On Nov. 27th, the 14th Xinjiang Winter Tourism Trade Fair is scheduled to be revealed in the city of Altay, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China, when the region will hold to its golden period for winter tourism in 2019, local authorities explained on Wednesday.
The trade fair will start from November 2019 and will continue till March 2020. During the period, over 400 cultural and tourist activities will be introduced as per the regional culture and tourism department.
Three meetings and forums, along with four exhibitions on winter tourism products and cultural tourism, will be organized during the fair as well. From Nov. 27th till 30th, the ice and snow equipment and creative cultural products exhibition will be presented in Altay. From Dec. 13th to 15th, winter tourism products will be showcased on a fair in the city of Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The winter tourism trade fair has been organized every year since 2006.
