Curacao Marriott Beach Resort has been reopened USD 40 million renovations. The renovations have been financed by Piscamar Beach Resort B.V., managed by Aimbridge Hospitality. The 336-room hotel is located on six acres of real estate along the coast of Curacao.
The hotel’s design has local touches inspired by the beautiful Caribbean surroundings to give guests the ultimate experience for relaxing and recharging.
The hotel design has hints of Dutch naval and nautical inspiration. Dutch colonial architecture has been combined with Plantation-style elements to welcome guests in an open-air modern lobby with incredible views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea. Each guest room boasts private balconies, ocean or pool views, large flat-screen TVs, and plush bedding and spa-grade bathrooms. Each room has artwork made from local recycled plastics.
Award-winning Caribbean-born Chef Dino Jagtiani has been brought on board for refining all culinary experiences on the property including a fine dining restaurant called C-Spice and multiple bars including a craft cocktail bar and pool bar.
The C-Spice restaurant offers Caribbean fare with hints of European and Latin American flavours. The restaurant will provide guests inside or outside dining adjacent to the courtyard that has a cigar lounge and bar with premium rums and spirits.
The property is spread over 20,000 square feet. The property offers two ballrooms including the 5,000-square-foot Royal Ballroom and 3,000-square-foot Queen’s Ballroom.
Surrounded by lush greenery, a botanical garden is also present in the property in addition to a 10,000-square-foot oceanfront space set on the resort’s white-sand beach.
The hotel has multiple amenities including an adult and family-friendly pool, a kids club and a walking path connected to the property. Apart from this, there is a state-of-the-art gym with daily classes including yoga, Pilates, pool fitness and more. Live entertainment in the lobby on weekends and the Reef Club offering a private lounge setting with food and beverages are among other highlights.
