Deliciously unique cocktails have been added to the drinks menu of the Piazzetta pop-up restaurant and the popular CottoCrudo bar at Four Seasons Hotel in Prague this summer. Each creation contains carefully selected ingredients that will evoke tastes of sunshine, citrus, herbs and the sea, all in the historical centre of Prague for a limited time only.
Pop-up restaurant Piazzetta is inspired by the traditional squares commonly found in picturesque old Italian towns that conjure the perfect summer mood. Set on the terrace of Four Seasons, guests can enjoy an array of unconventional refreshments, such as a White Negroni cocktail, mixed with gin, dry Martini and elderberry liqueur St-Germain, or a Garibaldi, based on Campari, prosecco and orange juice, as they sit back and enjoy the dolce vitaatmosphere like a true Italian. One sip on a Sangria Rose, whose recipe consists of a selection of berries, rosé wine and lavender and rose syrup and the flowing Vltava river will suddenly transform into the soothing sound of the Mediterranean ocean. All drinks are strictly mixed from premium fresh ingredients, and are bursting full of flavour. Just like the Figaro Mule, which consists of vodka, limoncello fruit liqueur, peach puree and ginger beer.
Michael Z. Pechlof, Director of Food and Beverage, revealed what inspired the creation of these summer drinks: “From the very beginning, the Piazzetta pop-up was designed to match the atmosphere of the summertime Mediterranean mood. The menu for this restaurant is tailor-made by Matteo Grubelati, and we have seamlessly followed his choice of ingredients by creating refreshing cocktails in the same spirit.”
New drinks have also landed at the Hotel’s famous CottoCrudo bar. Eccentric flavours are guaranteed with Luce, which features bacon washed Canadian Club whiskey with maple syrup and bitter cherry liqueur. Ligero combines gin, elderberry liqueur St-Germain, balsamic dressing and strawberry puree and is decorated with vivid leaves of mint. A star blend of ingredients such as tequilla, Grand Marnier orange liqueur, lavender syrup and fresh lemon juice combines its tastes in Lumière. Special drink Petrin is made of mango and peach puree, apple juice and foam with the flavour of exotic yuzu and bergamot as the icing on the cake of the new cocktail menu – guests can enjoy it while looking at the tower of the same name.
