Princess Cruises will be among the largest cruise operators in Australia during the 2020/21 summer season when the brand has a total of SIX ships cruising from the country.

You read correctly, there’ll be half a dozen Princess Cruises ships sailing around Australia late next year, including Pacific Princess which will return after a 12-year absence.
That’s right, The Love Boat is coming back to Australia baby, where she’ll join Majestic Princess, Regal Princess, Sapphire Princess, Sun Princess and Sea Princess.
The news was revealed by Stuart Allison, Senior Vice President Asia Pacific, this morning who said the decision to deploy six ships (that’s one-third of the cruise line’s global fleet) reflects strong demand from the market.
Pacific Princess‘ first voyage down under will depart on 21 December 2020, which just happens to coincide with the 45th anniversary of Princess Cruises’ first roundtrip cruise from Australia.

Itineraries for the ship that featured on the popular TV show The Love Boat, go on sale from 11 July 2019 and include a 90-day roundtrip voyage from Sydney around South America, a 13-night New Zealand north and south island itinerary and a special 21-night sailing to remote locations in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.
Pacific Princess will also make 15 maiden calls during her return season down under, such as the line’s inaugural visit to Kaikoura and New Plymouth in New Zealand, Wewak and Gizo Island in the Soloman Islands and Madang in Papua New Guinea.
