China is willing to employ an Asia tourism promotion plan with other countries, as said by President Xi Jinping.
Xi said that Chinese people made more than 160 million outbound trips last year while inbound trips by overseas tourists surpassed 140 million, calling them “important forces for promoting exchanges and mutual learning among Chinese and foreign civilizations.”
Xi made the remarks in a keynote speech delivered at the opening ceremony of the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations.
