Greece was ranked the third destination world over in terms of outdoor activities for the summer of 2018 (April 1-October 31), as per data by international booking platform Adrenaline-Hunter.com which concentrates on outdoor tourism. France occupied the top position because of the country’s wide range of climbing activities arranged in the Alps and surfing in the Atlantic. Spain became second, as Greece followed a close third in the preferences of the adventure travelers. Portugal positioned fourth, as Croatia was the fifth most popular. Among Greek destinations, Santorini take up the top spot for another year, offering adventure travelers maritime activities, diving, sailing and helicopter tours.
Chania and Heraklion were in second and third spot, respectively, with visitors choosing from an array of sea activities.
