The 12th ACI Airport Exchange conference & exhibition takes place at the esteemed Norway Convention Center in Oslo in Nov. 27-29. It is jointly managed by two regions of Airports Council International, ACI Europe and ACI Asia-Pacific, with the support of ACI World. It features exhibition of extensive airport services and equipment with 4 specialist conferences addressing key aspects of airport management and operations.
The event is one of the biggest in the air transport sector’s annual calendar bringing together 50 exhibitors, 120 speakers and over 900 participants on the same platform.
The theme of 2018 is ‘Developing sustainable airports, secure airports, safe airports, successful airports’.
Dag Falk-Petersen, CEO of Avinor said that the event brings together industry representatives from Europe and Asia-Pacific. He added that Airport Exchange 2018 is a important opportunity to draw attention to Scandinavian design & construction, Norwegian know-how in airports operations in extreme weather, as well as their vision for electric and emission-free aviation.
This year’s conference streams include: Airport Operations & Facilitation; Airport Development & Environment; a special Airbus Airport Dedicated Conference and the Airport Security Summit – with a dedicated session and workshop on the ACI-IATA initiative: New Experience Travel and Technologies (NEXTT).
The event is preceded by a one-day ACI EUROPE & SESAR workshop on the impact of drones on operations at Europe’s airports.
