Amtrak is announcing its new summer sale, “Amtrak Across America” to help customers visit many destinations across the country for up to 30 percent off a standard fare. This special fare is available on Amtrak.com from Tuesday, July 31 through Friday, August 3 and valid for travel from Wednesday, August 15, 2018 to Thursday, February 28, 2019.
The sale offers great opportunities to see the country on many trains, including following the City of New Orleans down the Mississippi from Chicago to The Big Easy, riding the Empire Builder from Chicago to Seattle through America’s great northern plains, or traveling on more regional trains, such as Downeaster, with access to exciting New England destinations all year long and Missouri River Runner, providing service to many charming communities filled with rich history and unique attractions in Missouri. Other trains included in the sale are the Auto Train, California Zephyr, Capitol Limited, Cardinal, Carolinian/Piedmont, Lake Shore Limited, Silver Service/Palmetto, and Vermonter.

Customers can sit in comfort, instead of traffic, with large spacious seats, no middle seats, ample legroom, the freedom to move around, and Wi-Fi on many train services.
