COMMUNE A7, located next to Taipei 101 in Taipei's prime Xinyi District, an urban community space designed as a food market and event space will soon be transformed into Taipei's most anticipated development, Taipei Sky Tower, which will house two hotels and an experiential retail podium.
Taipei Sky Tower will be joining hands with Hyatt International luxury brands, Park Hyatt and Andaz, to revolutionize the hospitality industry. Scheduled to complete by 2020, this world-class architecture will be designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners (ACPV), one of Italy's most prominent architecture practices associated with international luxury hotel brands and modern furniture brands such as Kartell, B&B Italia, Hermes etc.
This will be the first time to develop a Park Hyatt and Andaz within one tower. At the press conference, Mr. David Udell, Hyatt's Group President -- Asia Pacific Hyatt Hotels Corporation, will be sharing the concept of integrating two distinctively different hotel brands into the same building - when old world charm meets new world vibrancy.
Symbolizing bamboo shoot and Roman column, this 54-level landmark architecture juxtaposes Eastern and Western elements with an elegantly pleated façade that will be accentuated in green. Aside from being the architect of the building, ACPV will lead interior design for the classic luxury hotel whereas, Neri & Hu will lead interior design for the contemporary luxury hotel, Park Hyatt and Andaz Taipei respectively.
Riant Capital Limited plans to shape the podium and streetscape of Taipei Sky Tower into a flagship shopping boulevard with a diverse array of lifestyle and luxury retail brands, each one will boast a unique façade befitting to their own individuality.
