German low-cost carrier, Eurowings, expands its network from the UK with a new flight from Heathrow to Salzburg, the first of which took off yesterday afternoon.
The new flights will operate twice weekly on Wednesday and Saturdays, arriving from Salzburg at 1350 and departing London at 1435. All services are planned with an A319 aircraft configured to 180 seats.
Simon Eastburn, Airline Business Development Director at Heathrow said, “As ski season approaches, we’re delighted to welcome this new flight to Salzburg with Eurowings, an exciting winter destination for passengers looking for a winter holiday.”
Eurowings is headquartered in Cologne and serves a network of domestic and European destinations as well as some long-haul routes. The fastest growing airline in Europe already operates flights to Cologne, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Berlin from Heathrow.
