AmaWaterways announced today that it has received five prestigious 2017 Travel WeeklyMagellan Awards. The annual awards are determined by a panel of travel industry experts selected by Travel Weekly, honoring the best in travel. The newest edition to its fleet, AmaKristina, took the top GOLD spot in two Luxury Ship categories celebrating the innovative, signature design features of the Chef’s Table specialty restaurant and the twin-balcony adjoining staterooms. This was in addition to the SILVER Award AmaKristina received in the coveted Overall River Cruise Ship category. Rounding off this year’s list of accolades was a GOLD Award for AmaWaterways Wine Cruises and SILVER for its African Safari program.

The Travel Weekly Magellan Awards add to the celebration of AmaWaterways 15th year anniversary. Other notable wins this year include Best Cruise Line from Virtuoso and being named The American Society of Travel Agents’ (ASTA) 2017 River Cruise Line Partner of the Year.
