The passenger traffic for Emirates customers for the month of July was more than 265,000 setting July as a record breaking month.
A combined total of more than 140,000 passengers flew from Heathrow and Gatwick. All the six of Emirates’ UK gateways witnessed the record breaking month.
Reports brought forward that 48,000 passengers travelled with the carrier from Manchester, 40,000 from Birmingham, 22,000 from Glasgow and 12,000 from Newcastle.
It was observed that Dubai was the most frequent travelled destination from UK last month, this was followed by Bangkok, Phuket, Mauritius, Maldives and Bali.
The airlines will be celebrating its 30th year of operations in the UK after the announcement of it being “on track” to board five million passengers from UK and Dubai in the 2017/18 financial year.
Laurie Berryman, vice president UK of Emirates mentioned that the national wide appeal of the services and the growth of the regional hubs was phenomenal in the month of July across the different gateways.
The airlines is looking forward to break more records , it already has 265,000 passengers carried in the UK.
