All across North America, Europe and Asia, Tourism Australia and Visit Victoria are initiating a sequence of culinary events to display Australia’s finest produce through Dan Hunter, celebrated Australian chef. Dan Hunter is often described as Tourism Australia’s ‘Friends of Australia’. He will share his exclusive Australian preparations, most of which are inspired by Brae in association with In Situ Restaurant, Restaurant Andre, San Francisco, Contra and Lyle’s, London.  The chef will also speak at iconic culinary venues like Culinary Institute of America, New York and Le Cordon Bleu, London.

Last month, Brae was declared by the world’s 50 Best Restaurants as #44 on their esteemed 2017 list at The Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne. This made Brae the second highest ranked restaurant in the country after Attica at #32. The global tour will also launch his first book Brae: Recipes and Stories from the Restaurant. It would be published by Phaidon. Dan Hunter will be profiled by Phaidon and he  is the first Australian chef to be honored. This will further enable the chef to join a world class line-up of other chefs with monographs including Massimo Bottura, Rene Redzepi, Ferran Adria and Virgilio Martinez respectively.
