Deutsche Hospitality is boosting its international sales operations by appointing staff to three new roles.
Aghy Sati will take on the newly created position of Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for the Middle East and will be based at the company’s Representative Office in Dubai. The main focus of his activities will be on Saudi Arabia and Qatar. In her new capacity as Director of Sales for Turkey, his colleague Zeynep Erol will be responsible for all sales activities in the country. The third new team member is Singapore-based Colvent Hu, who will become Regional Director of Sales for South East Asia. Her main emphasis will be to look after the Asian market, and she will concentrate in particular on the countries of Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore. By expanding its sales network in this way, Deutsche Hospitality is underlining its international presence.
The three new sales staff will represent the whole of the company’s hotel portfolio, which currently comprises precisely 100 hotels operated under the brands of Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts, Jaz in the City and IntercityHotel. The dual aim is to support the sales endeavours of the Deutsche Hospitality hotels in the respective regions and to acquire visitors from these source markets as hotel guests in other countries.
Aghy Sati began his career as Sales Manager at the Hotel Le Royal Meridien in Bahrain before moving on to further roles at Hilton, One & Only and Fairmont Raffles Hotels. Zeynep Erol has already occupied various sales positions for Kempinski and Jumeirah. Colvent Hu also brings plenty of experience to the table from her previous employers Ritz-Carlton and Paramount Hotels and Resorts.
Emmanuel Vallee, Vice President of Sales at Deutsche Hospitality, is looking forward to working with those appointed to the new roles: “These three new colleagues will support Deutsche Hospitality as it continues to strengthen its worldwide presence. Our hotel group is in a great position to continue its strategy of further international expansion.”
