In a move to become better accessible to tourists, a rare museum in the Czech capital is moving to Prague’s Old Town. The museum of toilets which was opened in 2014 in Prague’s 2 district is moving to Michalska 1 in the city by year’s end.
Among some 2,000 pieces are on display.The oldest piece dates back to the 15th century — a chamber spot acquired for the Lincoln Bedroom of the White House in 1892, which could have served up to 17 American presidents.
Another chamber pot at the museum was commissioned for Napoleon Bonaparte.
If you go: It opens Tuesday-Sunday from 10 am to 6pm. Admission fee is 150 koruna ($6), discounts for children, students and seniors.
