DANIA BEACH, FL—The Wyndham Garden Inn located here has broken ground.
Designed by Adache Group Architects, the seven-story hotel will offer 142 guestrooms, restaurant, swimming pool, parking and limited meeting facilities.
The hotel will be located on Federal Hwy., close to the airport. According to Adache Group Architects, Port Everglades is home to some 35,000 cruise tourists during any weekend during the tourist season, along with a growing number of flights to the area. This has caused a recent need and boom for south Broward County limited-service hotels, which are being built along the US-1 (Federal Hwy.) and Route 84 corridor.
The hotel is slated to open summer 2017.
